Whole order delivered 20 mins later. Forgot one supper, when that was delivered 30 mins later it was freezing. The food was all generally cold

Great delivery time. Hot food, we all enjoyed it. The fish was perfection!!!!!

Food was great prompt delivery. They phoned to say one item was unavailable and we chose an alternative. Only fault was I ordered sweet potato fries and got potato fries which I don't enjoy.

Order was placed with delivery estimated at 6.10pm (a wait of 30 minutes) when order hadn’t arrived by 6.25pm I phoned to check when and if order would arrive. I was told a driver was awaited to deliver the order! Driver appeared at 6.45pm and the order was cold. This has happened twice now so I won’t be ordering again as I paid over £19 for cold food which arrived a hour after ordering!

Lengthy complain ahead. Cold food, two hours late and overall terrible service! Ordered from Musselburgh branch at 5:10pm with estimated delivery of 5:50pm. Received a call at 5:50pm from the branch informing me that they didn’t have one of the items that I ordered and would have to choose something else - completely fine with this. Given the time they called, I expected that my food would be a later arrival. At 7:10pm I called for an update on my order, being told it was ‘on the way’. At 7:40pm TWO AND A HALF HOURS since initial order, I get a call from delivery person who was parked outside my home and reported that they couldn’t locate my house despite sitting directly outside my gate. I advised someone would come out to meet them - delivery driver continued to sit in their car on their phone and we had to tap on the car window to get their attention. FINALLY we had our food and I was so excited to find… a wrong item in the bag. Now I wouldn’t have minded, but every single item of food was cold and stale, including the incorrect item. I am so disappointed with this service and have noticed increasingly poor service the last few times I’ve ordered from here. I used to love Bene’s and was a fond customer, but the service here was awful.

Great food from this place but if I order a Pizza, i get a notification it’s ready to pick up 5 minutes later which isn’t right. So I allow a reasonable period of time to pass like 20 mins and go to pick up order, only to find I’m waiting another 20 mins for the order. 40-45 mins in total. Not good at all! Sort out your timings re how busy you are so if the wait is 40 mins then the app tells me its 40 mins or even tells me when its ready. So i come in to pick up and its ready. Sort that out and it’ll be spot on!

Fish wasn't fresh and chips were pretty much cold very poor

Very disappointed with this order. The delivery was supposed to take about 30 minutes, but it ended up taking 2 hours. By the time the food finally arrived, it was cold and not enjoyable at all. This was a really frustrating experience, and I hope the restaurant or delivery service improves their timing and food quality in the future

I generally have good service with Bene’s but was disappointed with the state of my pizza where it was overdone, burned round the edges. Pretty poor considering ita £15 pizza!!

No Show

The fish batter was burnt which in turn made the fish dry as well. Also the kids fish was very boney

Almost 2 hours for a delivery and the food was look warm bordering on cold. Extremely disappointed as a previous meal was great.

Chips forgot. Pizza cold. The redelivered pizza and it came like it had been chucked on the pavement. Staff were great though
